“Amazing is an understatement when looking back at my wedding at the Winehouse. Planning for a wedding is difficult at the best of times, let alone trying to organise it from another country – but Sam and the team at the Winehouse just made it so easy for us, and planned out the most incredible day of our lives.
The dedication and time put into the day for the year and months leading up to our wedding and particularly on the day were second to none, and it really was the everything we dreamed of having, in the most incredible venue, and the best location!
Our guests were blown away with the beauty of the venue as well as the guests mentioning that it was the best wedding food they’ve had in their lives!
Cannot recommend the Winehouse enough – I just wish we could do it all over again!! “

Sam and her team at the winehouse ensured we had the most magical day. From booking the venue till the big day everything ran smoothly and we had the most perfect day i wish we could do it all over again. We had the lovely Ella as our on the day coordinator and she smashed it out of the park with how organised she is and her attention to detail for everything.

I couldnt recommend them more as a venue and for planning!

My partner and I got married here. Sam, Taylor and the team at the Winehouse were absolutely amazing. They coordinated everything so we didn’t have to stress too much. The food was delicious and the wine was superb. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better wedding venue.

The team were incredible - Sam, Kim and Tayla made everything stress-free from planning right through to the day. Nothing was too big of an ask. As soon as we had the rehearsal we felt immediately at ease. The food! Our guests will not stop raving about it. They said it's the best they've ever had. The wine and beer was also brilliant. The main thing we couldn't get over, was the coordination on the day. They are truly professionals - even the music on the day, which we thought we'd have to control..they managed everything. The Winehouse took any stress element out of the equation and allowed us to actually get excited and not worry about the details. Cannot recommend them enough. The venue is stunning! The photos we got (and our guests) were incredible. I don't think you can find a more beautiful venue in Queenstown. Take us back! Thanks Winehouse! Erin & Karl x

Throughout the planning process, Sam was so helpful in giving great advice and recommendations. On the day, Ella was a SUPERSTAR! Everyone was commenting on how hard she worked and she was just the best vibe to have on the day. Unfortunately for us it rained on our wedding day BUT our inside ceremony was arguably even more beautiful, romantic and special and didn't feel anything like a back up plan. Our guests were completely blown away and were absolutely raving about the delicious food and service. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for bringing our dream day to life. We started planning our wedding 2+ years ago and having the support of Sam, Ella and the team was incredible, especially as we were planning our wedding while living overseas. They made the process of pulling everything together super easy, especially with all of the fantastic connections they have with other local vendors. I must have sent Sam a million emails and she was always responsive, no matter how big or small. On the day Ella kept everything on track, and it ran seamlessly. The wider Winehouse/Queenstown Catering crew were also awesome - everyone felt really well looked after and I got multiple comments about how great the customer service was. The food was absolutely phenomenal - how venison and tuna could be cooked so perfectly when feeding 115 people is beyond me! Thanks for everything team, the Winehouse holds such a special place in our hearts!

We got married at Winehouse at the end of January, and with the help of Samantha, Ella and the whole team our day was absolutely perfect. Samantha was across everything and was so helpful throughout the whole planning stage and answering all of our questions. She made us feel so at ease and confident that our day was going to come together amazingly. Ella's coordination in the lead up, on the day and for the rehearsal was amazing. She is so organised and made sure our day went off without a hitch. We knew we were in good hands and on the day we didn't have to worry about a thing! The venue itself is simply beautiful, I couldn't believe how lucky we were to get married in such a perfect location. The food was delicious, timeline was perfect and the set up and location was incredible. Couldn't recommend the Winehouse enough! Thank you Sam, Ella and team!

They were absolutely incredible from start to finish in helping to plan our wedding day. No question or request was too big or too small for Sam, she offered so many helpful insights and vendor recommendations from her many years of wedding planning, and approached everything with her wonderful relaxed nature. Weddings can be stressful but honestly with these guys everything just felt so easy. Our wedding ran perfectly, everything felt so seamless on the day and having Ella on hand as our coordinator was an amazing help too - we couldn't have done it without her! The food was incredible and the scenery just picturesque. If you are considering wedding venues in Queenstown (or anywhere else in NZ), book here!!!

As a photographer who captures regular weddings there, I rave about the team, the food and the warm welcoming surroundings. Everything is covered and such great value for money. It was the perfect place to celebrate our big day - such a beautiful venue, especially the garden ceremony area. The team at Winehouse were incredible to work with. Sam and Ella were super organised and helpful. They provided great recommendations for vendors etc. and made the lead up to the wedding stress-free. They provided heaps of detail in their emails and were always quick in getting back to us, which was ideal since we were organising from afar.   Amy was our co-ordinator on the day and did an impeccable job. I loved the upbeat energy she brought to the day and the way she calmly ensured that everything went to plan. We’d heard great things about the food at Winehouse and it definitely lived up to expectations as well!! We had the most incredible day and would 100% recommend Winehouse to others!

Such stunning grounds and surroundings, delicious food and drinks, but what makes Winehouse so special is Ella and Sam. Wow!! Honestly Ella and Sam make wedding planning easy and fun. We planned our overseas wedding and couldn’t have done it without Ella or Sam, they truly are the best in the business, from start to finish Winehouse made everything perfect for our special day. We could not recommend this place more highly. Thank again Winehouse for making our day so magical!

Right from Day 1 we have been recommending The Winehouse as a venue to get married at. The location is breathtaking both inside and outside. As soon as you step on site you are blown away by the beauty of it all.

And as soon as you walk into the doors you’ll need to catch your breath as the team will take your breath away. Sam and her crew are who you would always want on your team. The communication we had with Sam was flawless and efficient. She is enthusiastic and can answer any question you having racking around in your brain. I don’t know how many times we had contacted over the last 10 months but Sam was readily available whether by email or zoom.

Also a shoutout from the entire guest list on the food. They can’t stop talking about the food, some are still dreaming about the mussels! We’ve also had great feedback from everyone as they are recommending Winehouse to everyone who’s ears are turned on! It was one of the most enjoyable events that they have been to in a very long time!

If you are looking for efficient, enthusiastic and genuinely excited people to work with on your upcoming wedding, this is the place!!!

We chose Winehouse as our wedding venue and it was amazing. Sam, Tayla and Ella were fantastic leading up to the day, giving us accurate initial quotes, quick replies and answering any questions via zoom meetings and emails.

The venue is picturesque and the whole day was beautiful. Ella and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly on the day and it was perfect. All of our guests couldn’t speak highly enough of the day and the food, and cake (all prepared in house by Winehouse!) were standouts along with the location itself.

I would highly recommend Winehouse to anyone for their upcoming wedding or event.
