Sam is our Sales Manager & Planning Co-ordinator at Winehouse. She is the first point of contact and works closely with clients in the lead up to their wedding or event. Sam is an experienced planner with amazing communication skills. She has the rare ability to see every little detail required which ensures her clients can simply concentrate on enjoying their day.

Ella Riordan
Venue and Human Resources Manager Winehouse, Ella has a true passion for weddings and events. Her journey in the events industry began while studying at Queenstown Resort College in 2017, where she discovered her love for creating memorable experiences. During her studies, she worked casually for Queenstown Catering and Winehouse and has since progressed to a management role as Venue Manager. She has been in this role for the past three years. Ella thrives on crafting unforgettable moments and is dedicated to making each client’s special day everything they’ve dreamed of.

Wedding Coordinator Winehouse. Originally from Germany, Kathi moved across the globe to Queenstown in 2018 and started her hospitality journey over here as restaurant manager at a luxury lodge. Kathi joined Winehouse as a casual team member in October 2022, where her enthusiasm and attention to detail quickly shone through. Her love for creating memorable experiences led her to transition into the role of wedding coordinator, where she now excels. Kathi works closely with couples ensuring every little detail is perfect for their special day.

Millie Dray
Beverage Manager Winehouse and Queenstown Catering, Millie is a bubbly and friendly presence who has quickly become a key part of the team. Originally from mid-Canterbury, Millie made the move to Queenstown in 2022, seeking new adventures and opportunities. Starting as a casual team member, Millie’s dedication and passion for excellent service led her to take on the role of Beverage Manager for both Winehouse and Queenstown Catering. She believes that great service is all about creating memorable experiences for guests. Millie has built great rapport with local suppliers in the Queenstown area.

Andy Thompson
Corporate Sales and Catering Manager for all of Queenstown Catering’s operations, Andy moved to Queenstown in 2017. Andy has been in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years and understands the importance of building relationships and creating experiences that will be cherished forever. In his spare time you’ll find him hiking a mountain or walking around the Lake Wakatipu making the most of Queenstown’s breathtaking scenery.
