Venue & Location
The historic homestead is nestled among the vines at the gateway to Gibbston Valley. It offers beautiful gardens, rugged scenery, & the very best of Central Otago food, wine & hospitality.
A fabulous and lovingly restored turn of the century villa works in a complementary style with the croquet lawn to offer you a choice of spaces for your guests.
Gorgeous bay windows look out to the potager garden & French doors make a dramatic entrance to the stunning courtyard Pavilion. This seats 150 people with the option of a pavilion extension to create more space, enabling you to welcome up 250 guests for your dining event.
Valley of the Vines
The Winehouse grounds & surrounding landscape of Gibbston Valley include grapevines, open paddocks, mountain bike trails & the home of bungy jumping. This makes for a great location for team building activities. For that spectacular arrival, we also have on site our own helicopter landing pad!

Queenstown Event Catering
Our professional kitchen team will deliver local & inspired menus matched with the very best of Central Otago wines. Eating seasonally & enjoying the freshest of produce, your guests will leave with memories of an impeccable dining experience.
Depending on your event theme we can offer seated menus, walk & fork, dêgustation or a popular market stall option which can include an oyster table & shucker bar.
Venue hire includes:
- Exclusive use of Winehouse’s venue, grounds & facilities, for the duration of the event
- Table plan design & recommendations on best way to fit your numbers
- Rectangular tables, chairs & linen are included. (A surcharge may apply for additional hire requirements for numbers larger than 140). Set up of this is also included
- Hanging Edison festoon lighting
- Venue co-ordinator to assist with any additional hire requirements to complement your theme. This may include: additional lighting, audio and visual equipment, table centrepieces, entertainment
